Sayings of Imam Ali

Imam Ali once said to his son Imam Hasan, My son, learn four things from me and through them you will learn four more. If you keep them in mind your actions will not bring any harm to you:

The greatest wealth is Wisdom; the greatest poverty is stupidity;

the worst unso-ciableness is that of vanity and self-glorification;

and the best nobility of descent exhibits itself in politeness

and in refinement of manner.

The next four things, my son, are:

"Do not make friendship with a fool because when he will try to do you good he will do you harm;

do not make a miser your friend because he will run away from you at the time of your dire need;

do not be friendly with a vicious and wicked person because he will sell you and your friendship at the cheapest price

and do not make friend of a liar because like a mirage he

will make you visualize very near the things which lie at a great

distance and will make you see at the great distance the things which are near to you

وَ قَالَ [عليه السلام] لِابْنِهِ الْحَسَنِ [عليه السلام] يَا بُنَيَّ احْفَظْ عَنِّى أَرْبَعاً وَ أَرْبَعاً لَا يَضُرُّكَ مَا عَمِلْتَ مَعَهُنَّ إِنَّ أَغْنَى الْغِنَى الْعَقْلُ وَ أَكْبَرَ الْفَقْرِ الْحُمْقُ وَ أَوْحَشَ الْوَحْشَةِ الْعُجْبُ وَ أَكْرَمَ الْحَسَبِ حُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ يَا بُنَيَّ إِيَّاكَ وَ مُصَادَقَةَ الْأَحْمَقِ فَإِنَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَنْفَعَكَ فَيَضُرَّكَ وَ إِيَّاكَ وَ مُصَادَقَةَ الْبَخِيلِ فَإِنَّهُ يَقْعُدُ عَنْكَ أَحْوَجَ مَا تَكُونُ إِلَيْهِ وَ إِيَّاكَ وَ مُصَادَقَةَ الْفَاجِرِ فَإِنَّهُ يَبِيعُكَ بِالتَّافِهِ وَ إِيَّاكَ وَ مُصَادَقَةَ الْكَذَّابِ فَإِنَّهُ كَالسَّرَابِ يُقَرِّبُ عَلَيْكَ الْبَعِيدَ وَ يُبَعِّدُ عَلَيْكَ الْقَرِيبَ .

به فرزندش امام حسن [عليه السلام] فرمود : پسرم ! چهار چيز از من يادگير (در خوبى ها ) ، و چهار چيز به خاطر بسپار (هشدارها)، كه تا به آن ها عمل مى كنى زيان نبيني:
الف ـ خوبى ها
1 ـ همانا ارزشمند ترين بى نيازى عقل است . 2 ـ و بزرگ ترين فقر بى خردى است . 3 ـ و ترسناك ترين تنهايى خود پسندى است . 4 ـ و گرامى ترين ارزش خانوادگى ، اخلاق نيكوست.
ب ـ هشدار ها

1 ـ پسرم ! از دوستى با احمق بپرهيز ، چرا كه مى خواهد به تو نفعى رساند اما دچار زيانت مى كند.
2 ـ از دوستى با بخيل بپرهيز ، زيرا آنچه را كه سخت به آن نياز دارى از تو دريغ مى دارد.
3 ـ و از دوستى با بدكار بپرهيز، كه با اندك بهايى تو را مى فروشد.
4 ـ و از دوستى با دروغگو بپرهيز كه به سراب ماند: دور را به تو نزديك ، و نزديك را دور مى نماياند.

Homework, I Love You

Homework, I love you. I think that you’re great.

It’s wonderful fun when you keep me up late.

I think you’re the best when I’m totally stressed,

preparing and cramming all night for a test

Homework, I love you. What more can I say

I love to do hundreds of problems each day

You boggle my mind and you make me go blind

but still I’m ecstatic that you were assigned

Homework, I love you. I tell you, it’s true

There’s nothing more fun or exciting to do

You’re never a chore, for it’s you I adore

I wish that our teacher would hand you out more

Homework, I love you. You thrill me inside.

I’m filled with emotions. I’m fit to be tied.

I cannot complain when you frazzle my brain

Of course, that’s because I’m completely insane

حدیث

Sayings of Imam Ali

The sin which makes you sad and repentant is more liked by Allah than the good deed which turns you arrogant

وَ قَالَ [عليه السلام] سَيِّئَةٌ تَسُوءُكَ خَيْرٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ تُعْجِبُكَ

دورد خدا بر او ، فرمود : گناهى كه تو را پشيمان كند بهتر از كار نيكى است كه تو را به خود پسندى وا دارد.

Tongue is a beast, if it is let loose, it devours

وَ قَالَ [عليه السلام] اللِّسَانُ سَبُعٌ إِنْ خُلِّيَ عَنْهُ عَقَرَ .

و درود خدا بر او ، فرمود : زبان تربيت نشده ، درنده اى است كه اگر رهايش كنى مى گزد.

The wiser a man is, the less talkative will he be

وَ قَالَ [عليه السلام] إِذَا تَمَّ الْعَقْلُ نَقَصَ الْكَلَامُ .

و درود خدا بر او ، فرمود : چون عقل كامل گردد ، سخن اندك شود

Knowledge and wisdom are really the privilege of a faithful

Muslim. If you have lost them, get them back even though

you may have to get them from the apostates

وَ قَالَ [عليه السلام] الْحِكْمَةُ ضَالَّةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ فَخُذِ الْحِكْمَةَ وَ لَوْ مِنْ أَهْلِ النِّفَاقِ .

و درود خدا بر او ، فرمود : حكمت ،گمشدة مؤمن است ، حكمت را فراگير هر چند از منافقان باشد.

گرامر

در زبان انگلیسی می توانیم با اضافه کردن ful یا y به دنبال بعضی از اسم ها آنها را به صفت تبدیل کنیم

نکته:

1-صفت قبل از اسم بکار می رود

2-بعد از افعال ربطی am,is, are,was,were,seem,look و... صفت بکار می رود

صفت adjective	اسم noun
rainy بارانی	rain باران
sunny آفتابی	sun آفتاب
watery آبکی	water آب
cloudy ابری	cloud ابر
powerful نیرومند-قدرتمند	power نیرو-قدرت
colorful رنگارنگ	color رنگ
